Okay - so I'm not a consistent blogger. Maybe I'm not consistent about other things, too, but I certainly won't beat myself up about it!

Today is August 23rd, 2011. I'm having a great time working on some steampunk jewelry for a swap, as well as trying to organize my first (gulp) teaching gig at NORBAG (book arts group here in Humboldt County). More on both of those at a later date.

I love being a grandma ((I'm Yia Yia) to two sweet, active and lovable grandkids, who happen to live in Illinois (Champaign to be exact).

Went swimming today at the pool - have to get those last laps in before the pool closes for the season in two weeks.

I sent in my application/registration for ArtFest 2012 - taking place in Port Townsend, WA. next March. I love the Fort...

A Day in the Garage...er...studio...

I am immersed in an online class led by Stephanie Lee - metalsmither incomparable! Today I spent most of my time in the garage, trying out the new techniques from Stephanie's videos. We are almost two/thirds finished with the class - I can't believe it! The amount of information is incredible and so well-explained. I love the comments from other participants and the support everyone gives.
